The West High Boys JV and Varsity basketball teams gave an exceptional performance, with standout player Jaylen Johnson leading the charge. Jaylen demonstrated impressive versatility by competing in both the JV and Varsity games, showcasing his dedication and skill. Off the court, Jaylen excels academically, maintaining a 3.5 GPA while preparing for a future in sports or business management.
Energizing the Crowd: Performances by the Drill Team
Adding to the excitement, the West High drill team energized the crowd with their dynamic and synchronized routines. Their performance amplified the school spirit in the gym, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.

Mi’Aira Jones, a member of the WHS dance team, is not only a talented performer but also a stellar student with a 3.8 GPA. Recently selected for the prestigious Versiti Leadership Academy, Mi’Aira plans to pursue a career in nursing while continuing her passion for dance at the collegiate level.
Jahmere Johnson received multiple academic scholarship offers, showcasing his dedication to both athletics and academics. His achievements position him as a future leader, balancing excellence in the classroom with his talent on the court.
