On a chilly evening, Lead The Way had the privilege of supporting West High School during their annual winter event. In partnership with Operation Warm, Lead The Way distributed coats and shoes to students and families in need, ensuring that our community’s youth can stay warm and comfortable during the cold winter months.

A Heartwarming Evening of Giving

The event kicked off at 6:00 p.m. and ran until 8:30 p.m., filling the evening with joy and gratitude. Families were greeted by welcoming staff who guided them through the simple process of completing forms to receive free coats and shoes.

The smiles on the faces of young students as they picked out vibrant winter coats and sturdy footwear were truly heartwarming. Parents expressed immense gratitude for the event, as the city's plunging temperatures made the timing of this distribution especially critical.

Impact by the Numbers

With the support of Operation Warm, over 40 coats and pairs of shoes were donated during the event. Each item represented more than just warmth—it symbolized care, support, and a commitment to uplifting our community.

Community Through Partnership

This collaboration between Lead The Way, West High School, and Operation Warm not only provided essential resources to families but also fostered a spirit of unity and community. The event was a shining example of what can be achieved when organizations come together to serve those in need.

Looking Ahead

The success of this event is just the beginning. Lead The Way remains committed to creating impactful partnerships and programs that address the needs of our youth and families. As temperatures continue to drop, we are inspired to keep working toward a brighter, warmer future for all.

Thank You to Our Partners

We extend our deepest gratitude to Operation Warm for their generous support and to the staff at West High School for their collaboration in making this event a success. Together, we are making a real difference in the lives of our community members.
