On April 10th, Amber Harris who has led many family workshops held another one at Groveport Madison High School. This was the next installment of the Stronger Together: A Family Workshop on Resilience and Connection series. During this time Amber and her panel discussed what being resilient looks like in many aspects and situations. It was an open discussion of how tough obstacles and situations can help bring a family together.
Tips and tools were discussed on how to have these conversations and hold space for those that are trying to connect with each other. Families had opportunities to engage in activities together such as games to problem solve together and create a foundation of open minded communication. We also had the opportunity to have give aways for those that attended. It was a night filled with connection, communication, and fun.
