We at Lead The Way are thrilled to have partnered with the Faith Thomas Foundation to host the "Knowledge is Power: Sickle Cell" informational event, providing an incredible learning opportunity for the youth of Franklin County. Over 120 students from more than 5 schools across Columbus joined us at our downtown office, engaging with industry leaders from Versiti, Pfizer, and OSU’s The James Center. This event offered our students invaluable insights into sickle cell disease, blood health, and patient care all while providing career awareness in the medical realm.
The Faith Thomas Foundation, founded by Felice Thomas, was created in memory of her daughter, Faith, who bravely battled sickle cell disease. Through this foundation, Felice is committed to raising awareness and supporting families affected by the disease. We are grateful for the Faith Thomas Foundation’s dedication to education and advocacy, helping empower our future healthcare leaders!
