The students of Horizon Science Academy embarked on an enriching educational experience with a field trip to the Franklin Park Conservatory. During this visit, the students explored a variety of ecosystems and environments such as the rainforest and desert, gaining valuable insight into the diversity of plant life from across the globe. This hands-on learning opportunity is designed to deepen their understanding of environmental science and broaden their appreciation for the natural world. By observing and interacting with unique plant species, students were able to enhance their knowledge of biology and ecology, supporting their dynamic education in STEM through a real-world setting. Thank you Franklin Park Conservatory for hosting our youth and providing rich insight on plant life during the Biome Expedition.
