Students of Groveport Madison High School who are part of Lead the Way Learning Academy, have moved into the second phase of Lean Six Sigma, which incorporates Green Belt. The Green Belt phase of Lean Six Sigma focuses on quality improvement and problem solving within existing processes. This phase introduces the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control (DMAIC) paradigm, which students implement within their respective teams to assist in the completion of their Green Belt projects. Upon completion of this phase, students will be able to employ the DMAIC methods for existing processes.
The Green Belt phase also teaches collaboration among students and challenges them to think innovatively. It challenges them to extend beyond conventional problem-solving approaches. Keep up the great work students!
