Youth Internship Program
An Internship offers the opportunity for a young person to spend time with one or more employees at a business, non-profit organization, or government agency. The objective is to provide a chance to observe and gain hands-on experience in how organizations operate. The primary goal of the Youth Internship Program is to increase a student’s knowledge of workplace skills and receive on-the-job experience. We attempt to closely match applicant’s interests to roles that reflect their chosen career pathway. In addition, this enables interns to learn what skills and knowledge are necessary to enter a variety of careers. Aspects of this programming includes work experiences through worksite, virtual, and work-based learning. See a listing of current internships here!
